EVITA was represented at the SCA / HPC Asia 2026 conference in Osaka, Japan, where our colleague Karina Pešatová from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center participated in the invited session “The Human Algorithm: Designing the Future with HPC.”
During her presentation, “Empowering Europe’s HPC Community Through Skills and Inclusion,” Karina introduced the EVITA project and its mission to strengthen skills development and promote inclusive capacity building across Europe’s high-performance computing (HPC) ecosystem. The talk highlighted the importance of creating accessible training opportunities and fostering a diverse and well-prepared community to support the continued growth of HPC in Europe. The session also provided a valuable platform to engage with the international HPC community beyond Europe. Discussions explored how collaboration, education, and accessibility can help shape a more inclusive and sustainable future for supercomputing.
