ISC 2025

Conference
Hamburg, Germany

The International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) is one of Europe’s leading events in the field of high-performance computing, bringing together researchers, technology providers, infrastructure operators, and policy stakeholders from across the global HPC ecosystem. ISC 2025 provided an important forum for exchanging ideas on emerging technologies, training, and the future of HPC in science and industry.

During ISC 2025, EVITA team engaged with the HPC SPECTRA project, marking an important exchange between two closely related initiatives focused on advancing HPC training, education, and skills development in Europe. Building on the groundwork established by HPC SPECTRA, EVITA continues efforts to develop structured learning pathways and coordinated training approaches that support a growing and diverse HPC community.

The meeting at ISC enabled constructive discussions, the exchange of experiences, and the exploration of opportunities for continued collaboration. Participation in the conference contributed to strengthening connections within the European HPC training landscape and supporting the ongoing development of a coherent and sustainable skills ecosystem.
