The NAISS User Forum is a key national event organised by the National Academic Infrastructure for Supercomputing in Sweden (NAISS), bringing together users from academia and industry to exchange experiences, present research workflows, and discuss best practices in high-performance computing. The forum provides an important platform for dialogue between HPC users, service providers, and training initiatives.
EVITA participated in the NAISS User Forum in Gothenburg, where the event offered a valuable opportunity to engage with users from a wide range of scientific and industrial domains. Through presentations and discussions, participants shared insights into their research workflows, computational challenges, and practical experiences with HPC systems, fostering knowledge exchange across disciplines.
During the forum, Yonglei Wang (Linköping University) presented the EVITA project to the HPC community, highlighting recent developments in training, knowledge sharing, and community collaboration. The presentation also provided an opportunity to introduce EVITA’s approach to structured learning pathways and skills development. Participation in the NAISS User Forum contributed to strengthening connections with the Nordic HPC user community and to gathering valuable feedback to inform future training and dissemination activities.
