EVITA is building a unified, high-quality training framework for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and emerging technologies across Europe. Funded by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking and led by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, EVITA connects leading institutions to deliver recognised qualifications and modular learning content that supports academia, industry, and innovation. Together, we’re shaping the future of HPC education – standardised, portable, and excellence-driven.

EVITA aims to establish a sustainable, high-quality, and inclusive training ecosystem for High-Performance Computing (HPC) across Europe. By developing a Competence and Qualification Framework (CQF), curating innovative training modules, and building a centralized digital training platform, EVITA empowers learners, educators, and institutions to access and deliver harmonized HPC education. The project fosters collaboration among leading academic and supercomputing centres, ensures quality assurance through standardized evaluation mechanisms, and promotes long-term adoption through governance and sustainability planning – ultimately contributing to Europe’s leadership in HPC skills and workforce development.
